FROZEN RAIN (얼은 비)

 

 

I found it this morning that the 'frozen rain' on the way coming up from Hwasung(華城) yesterday had covered the whole earth in white at last.
Perhaps, there must have been something on the earth to cover over.
However, the eastern United States and some of European countries are being suffered from the 'frozen rain' because they had too much of it.

Sooner or later, winter of covering season will pass out.
Closing my eyes, I am trying to recall the spring's fragrance of the 'thawed snow' which will cleanse something of the earth.
Now it is December in the middle of winter. Is it too early to call the spring?

 

 

 

 

어제 화성(華城)에서 올라오는 길부터 내리던 '얼은 비'가 마침내 아침엔 세상을 하얗게 덮어 놓았다.
이 세상에 뭔가 덮어주어야 할 일이 있었나보다.
그러나, 미국 동부와 유럽지역 일부는 이 '얼은 비'가 너무 내려 몸살을 앓고 있다.

 

얼마 않있으면, 덮어주던 겨울도 지날 것이다.
세상의 뭔가를 씻어 낼  '녹은 눈'의 봄 향기를 눈 감고 기억해 본다.
지금은 12월의 한 겨울, 봄을 부르기에 좀 이른 건가?
